Barcelona are drawing up a shortlist of potential left-back signings.

Cadena Ser says Barca will seek to buy a new left-back in 2012, with Maxwell and Eric Abidal both likely to move on and Adriano failing to impress.

Those on the shortlist include Michel Bastos (Lyon), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Jordi Alba (Valencia) and Gareth Bale (Tottenham).
