Barcelona draw up bid for Juventus outcast Poulsen
Barcelona are preparing a bid for Juventus midfielder Christian Poulsen.
Sport says Barca see the Denmark international as an alternative target for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.
The European champs have put aside £12 million to offer Juve for Poulsen. The Bianconeri are eager to clear the ex-Sevilla man off their books.

Load of rubbish if u ask me.Firstly Barca dont really need a DM since they have Yaya,Keita,Busquets+Marquez...(so if they buy he sld be better than those like Mascarano not Poulson).Secondly £12m for Poulson? lol yeah right....i think Juve will pay a club £2m to take him....all that said as a Gooner i think we (Arsenal) should consider him (only if realistically priced at around £4.5m).He would give us height/bite/experience.
We definitely need a defensive midfielder. This year Touré and Keita are going to the African Cup, so they'll be out for at least 6 weeks (more than 10 matches). With the more-than-probable departure of Hleb and Goudjonsen, we are only left with 3 midfielders (Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets), so what happens if one of those gets injured?
Anyways, I don't think Poulsen is good enough to play for Barça... We should go for Mascherano, Essien, Aquilani, De Rossi or D'Agostino. My 2c...
