Barcelona feel they've unearthed a gem in Munir El Haddadi.

The 17 year-old midfielder was signed by Barca ahead of Manchester City, Real Madrid, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe and Osasuna in the summer. Munir had been on the books with Atletico Madrid, but became available after an impressive spell on-loan at Rayo Majadahonda.

Likened to Real Madrid star Angel di Maria, Munir is tipped to move quickly through Barca's youth system, where he is currently playing for Juvenil B.

The teen admits his heroes are Lionel Messi and QPR's midfield star Adel Taarabt.
