Gerard Pique has been picked up in conversation with Spain coach Vicente del Bosque discussing the sale of Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas.ASTV captured the conversation, where Pique admitted Cesc had been sold "for €33 million".
AS reported the conversation as:
Del Bosque: "Did you speak, what did he say?"
Piqué: "I defend a little Cesc."
Del Bosque: "He will not win for the president dislikes him, poor thing..."
Piqué: "That no, no."
Del Bosque: "Do not worry, he's going to go crazy, poor thing."
Piqué: "He has said that it's done."
Del Bosque: "Does he?"
Piqué: "He is already leaving for 33 million. He has told me."
Chelsea are regarded now as favourites to sign Cesc after his London visit over the weekend.
