Barcelona defender Gerard Pique admits he could hear the barracking of Espanyol's home fans last night.

During Barca's first-leg Copa del Rey defeat, Pique and his popstar wife Shakira were mocked and taunted by Espanyol fans.

At the final whistle, Pique stated: "The environment is always complicated here, it's difficult, but I'm not the one who has to make decisions on that issue. I only hope that at the Nou Camp you do not get insulted or see thrown objects on the field."

He continued: "It does not hurt to lose the streak here, the denied penalty may have affected us too much but at the Nou Camp we will have our options, it can be turned around next week."
