Barcelona defender Gerard Pique hopes Inter Milan and AC Milan can get back into Europe.

Both Milan sides have missed out on Europe's top club competition again for next season, the third season in a row.

“They're going through a difficult time, above all in terms of management," Piqué told Premium Sport.

“I hope they come back soon. They are two teams with world-class prestige and an illustrious history, I like to play against them because they're teams of an international level and the atmosphere at San Siro is always fantastic."
