Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu has revealed there WAS a bust-up between coach Luis Enrique and Lionel Messi. The Frenchman has confirmed the reports of a training ground row over the New Year.
"Above all it was a training session at the beginning of the month. Just after the Christmas holidays.
"All of a sudden, because of a foul that the manager didn't give in a training match Messi lost it a little bit and there was a bit of friction between them. What needed to be said was said. Luis Enrique spoke to Leo afterwards in the dressing room and they sorted it all out.
"As I said, these things happen at any club because it's Barcelona everything gets blown out of all proportion and gets a lot of coverage."
