Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano admits he wants to wind down his career in Argentina. Mascherano hopes to finish his playing time with River Plate.

"I'd like to end my career at River, where I started out, but I have a contract with Barcelona until 2018.

"It remains to be seen if I'll still be in good enough shape to play at a high level. These are issues that you mustn't force. It never depends on one individual," explained the 30-year-old on Fox Sports Radio.
