Barcelona defender Jordi Alba is hoping Real Madrid lose the Champions League final.
Real meet Liverpool in Kiev on Saturday.
Alba admits it is “strange" because even though he gets on “perfectly with them all" he says he “still wants them to lose all of their games" ahead of this weekend's Champions League final.
Alba hopes he won't have to congratulate Madrid for a third consecutive Champions League win, just like he did last year when they beat Juventus: “I congratulated them but I would have liked to not have to."
With respect to the guard of honour Madrid refused to give Barça, the left-back didn't kick up a fuss: “It's more to do with the media than the teams, but they will have their reasons for not doing it. We're still champions regardless."
