Barcelona defender Eric Abidal wasn't surprised seeing Real Madrid fall at Osasuna.
Real's defeat left them trailing the Liga leaders by seven points.
Abidal said: "Osasuna played very well, had chances and could have won by more. There is no surprise because against Real Madrid and Barcelona they are highly motivated, and give everything.
"What is important for us, however, is to keep working without worrying about what others are doing. There is seventeen games remaining, and Madrid's slip at Pamplona should serve as an alert to us."
The defender also stood up for France teammate Karim Benzema, the Real striker.
Abidal added: "He is a player who has many qualities and is working hard. He is a major player for Real Madrid, and I think that he is very focused."
