Barcelona have already coughed up a massive €14.5 million to secure the option of Santos star Neymar. Cadena Ser says Barca have paid the amount, which is 25 per cent of the total fee agreed with Santos for the Brazil international.

Barca have struck overall terms with Santos for a fee of €58 million for Neymar. If the Brazilians decide to sell to a rival, they will need to pay Barca a €20 million penalty clause.
