Manchester United are being linked with a shock Bosman deal for Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes. Valdes has so far priced himself out of a new contract agreement with Barca - after over a year of negotiations.

The keeper's current deal expires in 2010 and AS says there's fears inside the Barca camp that United have already made a bumper contract offer to Valdes for season 2010/11.

Valdes is refusing to commit to Barca unless they match his staggering £8 million-a-year contract demands.
