Barcelona considered a move for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil at the end of last season.
Ozil joined Arsenal less than 12 months ago in a £42.5m deal from Real Madrid.
But Sport says new Barca boss Luis Enrique sensed their might be a chance to lure him back to Spain. However, Arsenal's asking price made the move a non-starter.
