Barcelona do not expect Chelsea to make a January bid for Ronaldinho, it has been revealed.

The Observer says Ronaldinho will not be joining Chelsea in the January transfer window, despite Roman Abramovich's very public meeting with the Barcelona striker's brother, Robert Assis, in the summer.

"He is not playing particularly well at the moment and we have been informed that Chelsea are not interested," an executive at the Camp Nou said last night.
