Barcelona are showing significant interest in AC Milan youngster Mattia De Sciglio according to reports.
Spanish newspaper Sport is of the belief that new director of the Catalan club, Ariedo Braida, is looking to invade the roster of his former side with De Sciglio at the top of the list.
The 22-year old full-back has previously been linked with Real Madrid but their La Liga rivals have now joined the race for his services.
De Sciglio has been compared to Milan legend Paolo Maldini due to his ability to adjust to different defensive roles and has also been described in the same vein as another Rossoneri great, Mauro Tossatti.
The 16-time Italy international, who is contracted at Milan until the summer of 2016, has been restricted by a foot injury to 13 Serie A appearances for Filippo Inzaghi's side who sit 10th in Italy's top flight.
