Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde admits Gerard Pique is a doubt for the second-leg of their Copa del Rey tie with Barcelona.

The 31-year-old defender picked up a knee injury in the Catalan derby against Espanyol, Wednesday's training session will determine whether his coach can count on him.

"It's true that he ended the derby with some [injury] disturbances, but we think that he hasn't been absolutely ruled out of the game," Valverde said at his pre-match press conference.

"We are waiting to see if he can play or not, he is going to try in training and we will see."
