Barcelona coach Valverde splits squad into 4 sections before January market

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has split his squad into four ahead of the January market.

El Mundo Deportivo says Valverde counts on 12 players as untouchable, while he has one group of players he's prepared to move on.

Valverde relies essentially on 12 players (Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Leo Messi, Paulinho, Gerard Pique, Nelson Semedo, Sergi Roberto, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Samuel Umtiti, Sergi Busquets and Ivan Rakitic).

For the rest, they are substitute players (Jasper Cillessen, Javier Mascherano, Lucas Digne and Aleix Vidal), secondary (Denis Suarez, Gerard Deulofeu and Andre Gomes) and those who are no longer in the plans of the Spanish coach (Arda Turan, Thomas Vermaelen, Paco Alcacer and Rafinha).
