Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has welcomed the deal for Jeison Murillo.

The defender joined last week on-loan from Valencia.

Valverde said, "Murillo? I see him pretty well.

"With time, he will be better. Our idea is that he be available as soon as possible. We have a game this Sunday and Thursday and the fact that he played in our championship is a guarantee.

"We hope the best for him."
