Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde says Lionel Messi's disallowed goal at Valencia was clearly legitimate.

Rodrigo Moreno had Los Che ahead before Jordi Alba's scored Barca's equaliser. However, the 1-1 draw was dominated by Messi's disallowed goal.

Valverde said, "Messi's goal was very clear and then we conceded a goal opportunity. The important thing is to master the tension of the game. We did not crumble against a very strong opponent.

"We do not care what people say. We know we want to dominate the game and be the owners of the game. There are times that you are more fortunate than others. Our idea is always to attack.

"It was a game with a lot of pressure. We consider the point to be good."
