Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has dismissed Pablo Machin's complaints after victory over Sevilla in the Supercopa.
Machin claimed Sevilla could've won if Wissam Ben Yedder's late penalty had been converted.
But Valverde responded to his counterpart, stating: "That would be to guess the future.
"I do not know what would have happened. The last five minutes have been tight, but both teams had one more change.
"Look, we have a great goalkeeper who has stopped the penalty but they also have one, who has stopped three balls in a tenth of a second."
Ousmane Dembele hit a wonder goal and Valverde was asked if that was enough to guarantee a place in his team.
"It's not a question for me, we have high hopes for him and he has great qualities and he helps us a lot and has scored a great goal," he added.
