Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has been handed an injury headache by Jasper Cillessen.

Barca have confirmed the goalkeeper has suffered a rib injury, which is expected to leave him sidelined for potentially a fortnight.

It will mean he is out of their clash with Real Valladolid and potentially Huesca.

With no senior third keeper on the books, Valverde will have to call up Jokin Ezkieta or Iñaki Peña as cover for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Barca have also announced an ankle ligament injury for Sergi Samper.
