Barcelona coach Tata Martino held talks with Sergi Roberto yesterday amid reports of interest from Manchester United.

Roberto is being linked with United as he struggles to break into Martino's plans.

But the Argentine has made it clear to the youngster he rates him highly and in yesterday's meeting assured Roberto he would get his chance this season.

For his part, despite the lure of United, Roberto would prefer to establish a career with Barca.
