Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has shrugged off Valencia fans' anger towards Paco Alcacer.

Over the summer, the need for a fourth striker to give the front three rest was a major talking point, and after many different options considered, Alcacer was chosen, his movement and work ethic already paying dividends despite the lack of goals.

"Valencia may be angry at Paco Alcacer, but that sort of scenario has always happened and will continue to happen," Luis Enrique said. "I have nothing else to say on that matter.

"It is time to strike in the league, so we must continue to improve our performances because we can afford few failures."
