Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was happy to overcome Real Sociedad in their 1-0 Copa win last night.
Neymar won a penalty and then got up to convert it to give the Catalans a first win in San Sebastian since a 2-0 LaLiga success in May 2007.
It was only the Brazilian's eighth goal of the season but it helped strengthen Barcelona's grip on the trophy they have won each of the past two years ahead of the return leg at the Nou Camp in a week's time.
"It did not surprise us how Real played and pressed, but it is still difficult to play against and generate clear chances," said Enrique.
"But I think we have played in the opposite half. It has been a very well worked result. We have been concentrating on their transitions, on the high pressure they make. It's the first lap to the semifinals but the 0-1 is a result that allows the opponent to have opportunities."
