Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola remains hopeful over Juan Mata and Dmitro Chygrynskyi. El Mundo Deportivo says the prospect of both Valencia winger Mata and Shakhtar Donetsk defender Chygrynskyi arriving before the summer market shuts has not been discarded.

Guardiola admitted yesterday: "I think we still need one or two signings."
