Barcelona coach Guardiola tracking Spurs ace Defoe
Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe is in the sights of European champs Barcelona.
The Sunday Express says Barca are tracking Defoe following the England star’s goal exploits this season.
Defoe, a certainty to feature in Fabio Capello’s World Cup plans, has struck 15 goals for both club and country this season.
Now Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has ordered scouting reports on the former West Ham and Pompey star.
And if Defoe continues to deliver, Barca could make a move to land him. Spurs boss Harry Redknapp would resist all overtures for a striker he has nurtured throughout his career.
But if tempted to sell, Redknapp would want a big profit on the £15million which brought the 27-year-old back to White Hart Lane.

Totally agree with no1spurs fan, Defoe wouldn't dream of leaving Spurs, he is loved here and he knows he wouldn't get a full game week in week out at Barcelona, he is one of the most lethal finishers on the planet.
@ Hammer, i'd be surprised if any of your players made Barca's Under 12's.
