Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola refused to enter a war of words with Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the Swede's move to AC Milan.
Following victory over Racing Santander, Guardiola chose to praise his former striker.
"I appreciate his efforts and wish him all the best of luck in his new club. He's a great player," said the coach.
"I do not know [if Barca will miss Ibra], I guess so, anything is possible but I am very pleased with the squad I have and with the reserves.
"The first match is always difficult. I congratulate Racing because they are one of the few teams who play us as equals and not with long balls."
