Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola dismissed claims they rely too much on Lionel Messi after last night's 1-1 draw with Getafe.
Messi sat out the game and Barca needed Daniel Alves to net a late equaliser to rescue a point in front of the Nou Camp's second biggest crowd of the season.
"Messi is a player we need," conceded Guardiola. "He is very good. But I have others.
"Generally I was satisfied.
"Maybe we rushed our passing in the final third. We could have done with a bit more composure, but overall we dominated the game.
"I want to thank all the people who came to the stadium and applauded at the end. The supporters cannot be fooled and the day that we are applauded means we did not play badly.
"If this has been done today, it is because they've seen a team who has worked and tried to win."
