Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola was delighted with two-goal Pedro in their 5-1 thrashing of Espanyol.

Pedro has enjoyed a breakout 2010 and was outstanding in last night's derby.

"His game speaks for itself," said Guardiola. "The solidarity and intensity of all the top players is very important, and that helps the midfield a lot. This team never cease to amaze me and gives me much confidence for the future."
