Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has dismissed complaints from Emmauel Petit about the locker room atmosphere when they were teammates.

Arsenal legend Petit says when he joined Barca in 2000 that "there was a war between the Catalan and Dutch" and that the nationalism was so excessive that "it was close to racism".

Enrique was asked about Petit's comments at yesterday's Champions League media conference.

"I have not read it. I respect everyone's opinion, but in that locker room camaraderie reigned and there was good cheer.

"It was a magnificent and excellent dressing room," said Enrique.
