Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says no transfer decisions will be made until they learn of their appeal against a 2015 transfer ban.
Martin Montoya's agent has stated he will leave Barca in January.
But Enrique insists: "I know the player well and if it pains me to leave players out. You can imagine what it's like for one who I know especially well.
"I can only but say positive things about this player. He's been giving his all and he know that things can change in an instant. I don't want to speculate on possible departures and we have to waits for the decision from the TAS."
