Barcelona chiefs Pep Segura and Eric Abidal are in Paris to sign PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

AS says a delegation from Barcelona led by the director of football, Pep Segura, and the technical secretary, Eric Abidal, are in Paris with the intention to sign Rabiot.

The French midfielder's contract expires in 2019 and Barcelona have been interested in his services for the last couple of years.

Paulinho's departure has left a hole in Barcelona's midfield.

Rabiot, who was critical of his own side after they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League, has decided not to renew his contract with the club and negotiating a move to Barca is expected to be smooth.
