Barcelona sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta admits they're discussing new terms with Munir El Haddadi.
The 18 year-old striker remains on a B squad contract and his buyout clause is set at an affordable €12 million.
The stumbling block is that by upgrading his deal, El Haddadi would be committed to the first team and won't be allowed to drop down to play for the B team this season.
"We'll be working with his agents to decide on the best way to deal with his progress and contractual matters," said Zubi.
"The first team doors are open both to him and to Sandro Ramírez, but their team for now is the B team."
