Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez insists there's no plans to sell Paco Alcacer.
The striker has struggled this season since his arrival in August from Valencia.
"Paco knew the situation would be complicated, but we had to find a player because, during the season, you may have a problem and you have to be ready to resolve it in case," Robert told El Mundo Deportivo.
"What happens is that (Luis) Suarez is having a very good season and his competitor has to wait. We do not intend to sell Paco because otherwise we would have to find another player who would live the same thing and would otherwise cost us more."
