Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez was in talks with Theo Hernandez before he joined Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

Theo left Atletico Madrid for Real over the summer.

El Mundo Deportivo says Robert met face-to-face with Theo in Burgos. Indeed, he secured an agreement with the fullback about joining Barca.

However, when Real president Florentino Perez stepped in, Theo's agent pushed for him to move to Madrid.
