Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez insists Martin Montoya will stay with Inter Milan.

Montoya arrived over the summer on a one-season loan with option to buy, but has not made a single competitive appearance for the club.

“Montoya will not leave Inter and he will not be returning to Barça during the winter transfer window," director of sport Fernandez told Esports Cope.

There have nonetheless been multiple reports of a January exit, most likely in the direction of Spain or the English Premier League.
