Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez has confirmed they're in talks for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho and Borussia Dortmund striker Ousmane Dembele.

Dembele would be a natural replacement for Neymar in terms of position, whilst Coutinho will likely be used in midfield should he arrive.

"They [Coutinho and Dembele] are players that we are very interested in and they are important to us because we feel they would adapt well to our team," he explained.

"We are negotiating, but it depends on their clubs and they will make the final decision."

On the addition of Paulinho, he added: "I think Paulinho has experience and comes with international pedigree with the Brazil national team, which implies he has excellent qualities."
