Barcelona chief Robert Fernandez was at Wembley on Sunday to Tottenham thrash Liverpool.
The Mirror says he was in the stands to see Reds ace Philippe Coutinho in action.
Coutinho was unable to have a bearing on the result, as Harry Kane bagged a double for Spurs alongside Son Heung-min and Dele Alli's strikes.
Barcelona have been getting set to make a fresh move for Coutinho this January after failing to land the Brazilian international during the summer.
Three bids, with one as big as £114 million, were turned down by Liverpool.
