Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain has made contact with the agent of Real Mallorca striker Dani Guiza.

Marca says Begiristain has held talks with Nuria Bermudez, Guiza's agent, about the player's situation. Valencia have also met with the representative.

Barca are yet to make an offer, but Begiristain knows Guiza would welcome a move to the Nou Camp in the summer.
