Barcelona chief Bartomeu delivered first Cesc offer to Arsenal in London

Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu was in London last week to make their offer for Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Bartomeu met with Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis to discuss Cesc's situation and table their bid of €30-35 million cash. Gazidis did not deliver any response to Bartomeu, though the Gunners are insisting on at least €55 million for their club captain.

Meanwhile, in Indonesia to promote a range of cookies, Cesc was reluctant to discuss Barca's pursuit.

But he did say: "My biggest idol is Pep Guardiola."
