Barcelona chief Guillermo Amor praised Andre Gomes for his performance in victory at Athletic Bilbao.

Barca coach Ernesto Valverde elected to start the midfielder at San Mames, but his performance was not entirely well received.

"I liked him today and I liked him before," said ex-Barcelona player Amor.

"He has played in different positions and he is a player that needs continuity to improve and that is why he was signed.

"Not everyone sees football in the same way."
