Barcelona chief Eric Abidal is confident of the quality of new signing Malcom.

Barca gazumped AS Roma for the former Bordeaux star this week.

"We saw that he had the Barcelona profile," said Abidal at the player's official presentation.

"He is a left-footed player who can play on both wings, while he can also play as an attacking midfielder.

"He has a big future ahead of him."

Abidal also spoke about Barcelona's summer business as a whole, saying he is pleased to have secured Malcom, Clement Lenglet and Arthur Melo.

"With the three signings that we have, we have everything and we especially have a future," he said.
