Barcelona sports chief Eric Abidal was in Bern on Wednesday night.

Mundo Deportivo says Abidal was in the stands as Manchester United defeated Young Boys in their Champions League opener.

And outstanding on the night was Paul Pogba, who scored twice in front of fellow Frenchman Abidal.

Pogba is a confirmed target for Barca, where directors and players have openly talked up the prospect of the midfielder joining them in 2019.

And as Abidal watched on, the midfielder produced arguably his best performance in a United shirt for the 3-0 win.
