Barcelona are chasing Bayern Munich pair Franck Ribery and Philipp Lahm. Bild says Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain was in Munich earlier this month to meet with representatives about both players' availability.

Fullback Lahm is emerging as Barca's prime target, with the Liga leaders willing to commit over £25 million to signing the Germany international. Ribery is viewed as a foil for Lionel Messi.

Bayern chief Uli Hoeness said this week that no offers had arrived for the pair: "so far we have not received any offers from Barcelona for Lahm or Ribery."
