Barcelona are keeping tabs on QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar's situation.

Sport says Barca scouted Julio Cesar during the Confederations Cup and would like to bring him to the Nou Camp as a replacement for contract rebel Victor Valdes.

Arsenal are also interested in the Brazilian, having held talks with his agent, Josias Cardoso.

Barca believe they can land the veteran for a knockdown €3 million.
