Barcelona cash offer not enough for Man Utd to part with Pogba

Barcelona know they have little chance of convincing Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba this week.

Barca have until Friday to prise Pogba away from Old Trafford before the LaLiga transfer deadline falls.

Both Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu and director Ariedo Braida have spoken openly of their admiration for Pogba and the prospect of signing him this summer.

However, Don Balon says Barca have all but accepted United won't sell in the coming days after having a €160m offer turned down.

United had demanded Ivan Rakitic be included in their proposal earlier this month, but Barca refused to consider such a demand. The Manchester giants wanted Rakitic as a replacement for Pogba.
