Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta believes Manchester City can win the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola won the competition twice during his four years at the Nou Camp, and is aiming to win it for the first time since 2011.

“What Pep has done for the club will always be remembered, but he is the coach of Manchester City now - and I believe with their quality and Pep's leadership they will be a club that will be challenging for the Champions League this season," Iniesta told Goal.

The closest City have come to Europe's top competition is the semi-finals, which they reached under old boss Manuel Pellegrini last season.
