Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta has shrugged off the plaudits coming his way.

Iniesta's international career has been one from a fairytale, from winning multiple honours to scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final.

For this reason many believe him to be La Roja's greatest ever player, although this is something the 33-year-old rebukes.

"I wouldn't say I'm the best Spanish footballer in history," he went on.

"This just isn't something I either believe or feel. I'm proud of everything I've done, but I'm not the best."
