Andres Iniesta has urged Barcelona to maintain full focus despite the 'special' return of Pep Guardiola.

Barcelona prepare to square off against Manchester City on Wednesday night in what should be an enthralling encounter and the match is very significant due to the fact that Catalan hero Guardiola will be making a return to the Nou Camp.

Barcelona star Iniesta has stated that the return of Guardiola is a special moment but has urged his teammates not to lose their focus for the task in hand against a promising City side.

Iniesta said: "We can't pretend that Pep returning isn't special. It is, but at the same time we can't lose focus.

"What he achieved at Barcelona will always be remembered, and there will be a time for hugs, but the most important thing is that we try and win the game.

"Manchester City have so many great players and we know under Pep how well prepared they will be."
