Barcelona coach Tata Martino has ruled out moving for an emergency goalkeeper signing.
Barca are entitled to make such a signing after Victor Valdes suffered a serious knee injury during victory over Celta Vigo last night.
"I reject completely, unless we happen to suffer more misfortune, signing another goalie," said Martino.
"Institutions and teams like Barca do not need excuses. We have the resources and will keep fighting."
Valdes, off contract in June, is expected to be sidelined for six months.
